MS-SA helps help drive customer traffic to your website and business from the MS-SA websites ZIPCode Locator. When a prospective customer arrives at our site they type in a ZIP Code to find the mobile providers within 2000 miles. Your name, logo and contact information will also appear in the alphabetical list of providers.

Annual Conference Discounted Registration Fee

Each year MS-SA holds an annual meeting where the association holds its annual business meeting and offers education sessions on a number of topics of interest to those in the mobile industry—including roundtable discussions among members about current issues and challenges. In 2010 we will hold our event in conjunction with the National Portable Storage Association’s annual conference, November 7-9 at Disney World’s Swan & Dolphin Hotel in Orlando, FL.

Discounted Products

All MS-SA members receive a free subscription to Mini Storage Messenger and Mobile Storage Magazine. Members who are mobile providers may also be eligible for discounts from our industry supplier members. And you’ll have easy access to these companies’ names with our membership directory on the Members Only website.

Industry Survey

MS-SA’s produces an annual industry survey each year in cooperation with the association’s membership. This survey offers valuable information on industry trends that will help you evaluate where your business is relative to others in the mobile storage business.

Committees

The economy poses significant challenges for every industry and the mobile self-storage industry is no exception. This is a time when you need to participate, hear the last news, identify emerging trends, talk with the industry leaders, and meet with your key industry partners. We provide several opportunities to both expand the industry and meet colleagues with four standing committees:

Members Only Website

Want to pose a question to your colleagues? Need help finding a critical supplier? Are you looking for information about responding to a potentially damaging local ordinance? Then post a question on one of the forums on our Members Only website. Next year the MS-SA also plans to post several model documents on the website.

Social Media

To enhance membership communication between conferences, we plan to host webinars with MiniCo, publisher of our each year on current and continuing topics of interest. Our Communications and Technology Committee is also investigating the creation of social media tools to help ensure you’re up to date on breaking news, especially about local ordinances that affect the industry.

Membership Options & Dues

MS-SA Has Two
Membership Categories:

Dues for Storage Provider Members are $400 for local/regional providers and $1000 for national/corporate providers.
Dues for Industry Partners are $450.

Membership is based on the
calendar year, with renewal notices
sent each January.
