Mobile Self-Storage Association Created to Fill New
Mobile Storage Operators Collaborate on Innovative Storage Solutions

ST. LOUIS, Missouri -- April 13, 2004: A new association, the Mobile Self Storage Association, has been created by a group of Mobile Storage operators to meet the growing needs of the customers of the moving and self-storage industries looking for more innovative, convenient and mobile storage solutions. The number of independently owned and operated Mobile (pick-up and delivery) storage operators is rapidly growing, because of the increasing demand for new storage services by an expanding mobile market. It is the goal of this new association to facilitate and foster an atmosphere of cooperation between these specialized Mobile Storage Operators and bring awareness, education and value to the customers they serve.

At the most recent meeting in March, an Executive Committee was formed and they have begun the process of creating the Mobile Self-Storage Association. Members of this Executive Committee include: Randy Weissman of Storage Banc, Gary Crawford of Hide-Away Storage Services, Karl Koehler of Door to Door/City to City, Mary Fay Kattman of Store to Door and Frank Amodio of Warehouse on Wheels. The first order of business will be the creation of a Mobile Self-Storage Association website, which will include links to all member websites, followed by the development of by-laws and performance standards for member companies. For more information about the Mobile Self-Storage Association contact Randy Weissman of Storage Bank at 314.872.1600.
