Mobile Self-Storage Association Membership Grows by over Forty Percent

St Louis, MO – August 3, 2007:

The popularity of Mobile Self-Storage is reflected in the unprecedented growth of The Mobile Self-Storage Association. “Membership is up over forty percent compared to this time last year,” said Mary Fay Kattman of Store to Door Storage in Woburn, Ma and MS-SA board member. She added that MS-SA expects record attendance at their Annual Tradeshow and Convention, October 8-9 in Dallas, TX.

Storage Banc’s Randy Weissman, MS-SA Board President, adds, “This years conference is designed to help our membership improve their business. We will have speakers that will help our members convert inbound telephone inquiries into sales and roundtables focusing on the operational and legal issues of our industry. Our keynote speaker is Steve Little, a Senior Consultant for INC. Magazine. He will discuss small business growth. There will be plenty of time for networking and our Tradeshow will allow anyone interested in mobile storage the opportunity to shop for products and software, or explore franchise opportunities.”

The Mobile Self-Storage Association also announced that it has teamed up with Mobile Self-Storage Magazine to conduct the first-ever mobile self-storage survey. The mobile self-storage industry is growing rapidly, and businesses are in operation nationwide. One key element that has been missing is accurate industry data that members can use to help run their business more effectively. The data and statistics collected will be analyzed and incorporated into a formal report, which will be distributed in October at the Mobile Self-Storage Association Fall Conference and Trade Show.
